Like all LGB rack electric, the model can be used on level ground without a rack. Model correctly the poles and the control for the rack and pinion drive to run only if the model is on a rack section. Guests include the locomotive of a direction-dependent changes of light, a smoke generator and a DCC interface is upgraded to run on digital equipment, a protected drive with Buhler motor and a mode selector switch. All axes of the model are driven. Length over the buffers about 13 inches
