Our website inventory is updated automatically whenever an order is placed.
The inventory status represents the actual product we have on hand.
Inventory Messages Defined:
*In-Stock - The item is physically in our store and ready to ship
*Available, ships within 48 hours - This item will be back in-stock and shipped out within 48 hours.
*Currently out of stock, ships in 7-10 days - The item is currently out of stock but is either on order or can be ordered and delivered to our store within 7-10 days.
*Currently out of stock, ship dates to follow - We are out of stock on this item and so is the manufacturer. You are welcome to pre-order but we do not have a delivery date available.
Most packages are shipped using UPS or USPS and can be sent to all US locations with a valid street address or PO Boxes. Unless an expedited shipping option is chosen or the customer specifies preference, we will choose the shipping carrier at the time the order is processed.
The shipping charges for Domestic Ground Service are based on the amount of your purchase as defined in the following table:
*We charge our actual (USPS or UPS) shipping on orders being sent to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, FPO/APO and Oversea's addresses. Once your order is placed we will notify you via email with the total additional charges required to ship your order and will wait for your approval before processing the order.
Shipping for UPS Overnight, 2-Day, and 3-Day are based on weight and are computed automatically at checkout.
Simply fill out the order form and before your order is submitted, you will be presented with all shipping options and costs.
To determine when a package will arrive, be aware that delivery times are calculated on work days only (Monday thru Friday) weekends do not apply.
For example, a package shipped on Friday with overnight delivery will arrive on Monday unless paying additional fees (on top of expedited fees) for a Saturday delivery.
Find your location and the color on the map below to calculate UPS Ground delivery time to your state. UPS ground deliveries, while normally accurate, are not guaranteed.
Typically all in-stock products will be shipped within one day of receipt of order. If items on your order are backordered, we reserve the right to hold the in-stock items and ship them with the backordered items as soon as they become available. Backordered items will be shipped as soon as they arrive from the manufacturer, an additional "2nd ship" charge of $4 (for domestic orders) will be applied to the backorder. As always, you will be billed only for items that have actually shipped.
Unless otherwise instructed, we will hold international shipments until complete before processing the order.
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and PayPal. If paying via credit card we will not process payment until your order is ready to ship. If paying via PayPal funds will be pulled as soon as the order is placed on our system. Cashiers checks, money orders, company checks and personal checks are also accepted as means of payment. These should be sent along with a printout of your order to: Only Trains, 308 B Brighton Ave, Buffalo, MN 55313. For Cashier's check and money order payments, orders are normally released immediately on receipt of the check. In most cases, we can verify company and personal checks through our check validation service and the order is released immediately. However, if the check cannot be validated, it may take up to 10 business days before the order can be released.
As required by law, Only Trains Inc. will add sales tax to all orders ordered from or delivered to the state of Minnesota.
All the products we carry have warranties. Please call for information as we carry a number of different manufactures' products and all have different warranty policies. Below is a summary of LGB warranty. Upon purchase of a LGB/Märklin product the firm of LGB/Gebr. Märklin & Cie. GmbH gives you a
manufacturer's warranty of 24 months from the date of purchase. This warrany becomes null and void;
When the product has been used in a manner not intended by the manufacturer.
When the information in the operating instructions provided by the manufacturer has not been followed.
Repair or replacement of a product does not extend its warranty period.
Warranty claims can be submitted directly to Only Trains along with the warranty card or the sales receipt and a summary of the problem(s) with the product.
Returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days. All returned items must be in new condition and in their original packaging.
If purchasing items as a Holiday or Christmas gift we will extend the 30 day period to January 31st 2018 as we understand the item may not be received immediately after purchase.
All refunds will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping & handling is not refundable. No refunds on used items.
Merchandise returned damaged or with damaged packaging will be evaluated at time of return.
If a UPS intercept is requested by you, the customer, there will be a charge. This reflects the flat charge as well as additional shipping costs UPS charges Only Trains for this service.
Pricing and availability are subject to change without notice. Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy of information. Photo's shown on or sites may be of the actual item and or a likeness representing the actual product. However, Only Trains Inc. has no liability in the case of orders arising from typographical errors or inaccuracy's. We reserve the right to limit quantities or cancel any orders without assigning any reasons.
The delivery dates posted on items are given to us by the Manufacturer and are an estimate only. Delivery dates may change or in some cases items may be discontinued without notice.
