LGB 26451 BVO Bahn GmbH (Busverkehr Ober- und Westerzgebirge) Fichtelberg Railway Class L45H-083 Diesel Loco, Era V with Lights and Sound
More than 300 class L45H machines were built at the “23 August Works”
locomotive factory in Bucharest, Romania. Most of the class L45H locos
were delivered to Poland, Romania, and Hungary. The former GDR did not
order any of these locos back then. Following the reunification of
Germany in 1990, however, various machines of this type came to Germany,
including road number L45H-083. It was purchased by BVO Bahn GmbH
(Busverkehr Ober- und Westerzgebirge), which operated the Fichtelberg
Railway between Cranzahl and Oberwiesenthal at the time. Here, it was
initially given a blue paint scheme with a yellow decorative stripe and
was available for operation from 2001. Today, the Fichtelberg Railway is
operated by the Saxon Steam Railway Company (SDG).

The cab doors can be opened. The model is prototypically painted and lettered for era V. Both trucks are powered, and the minimum radius for operation is R1 / 600 mm / 23-5/8". The model is fitted with an mfx/DCC decoder with many light and sound functions; a buffer capacitor is fitted as standard. The white/red headlights change over with the direction of travel and can be controlled digitally. The engineer’s cab has interior fittings and lighting. An engineer figure is included.
