The class 95 is still one of the most popular steam locomotives today, always attracting large crowds of visitors during museum trips. The PIKO model of the class 95 shows all relevant details of its prototype and convinces with finest painting and printing, a prototypical beefy, finely detailed overall appearance and can be used in many ways. The machine also impresses with its robustness, precisely manufactured wheel sets with wheel tires made of stainless steel and a very safe current collection from the track. The PIKO model comes with direction-dependent light change, vaporizer as well as factory-installed digital decoder with sound and large speaker. Cab lighting and a pulsed evaporator can be retrofitted easily.

The locomotive´s propulsion system has been completely redesigned by our development department. Among other things, a cardan connection between the two halves of the transmission now ensures even cleaner running characteristics. The sound of the PIKO BR 95 has also been further developed to adapt it optimally to the respective operating situation.
