The PIKO BR 221 (V 200.1) diesel locomotive will appear in 2026 in
blue/beige livery, bringing one of the most iconic German Federal
Railway locomotives to G scale garden railways. The model impresses with
well-balanced proportions, high reliability and numerous functional
details. Cab doors and windows can be opened, and the red/white lighting
changes direction-dependently in analog operation. By optionally
retrofitting a PIKO PSD XP decoder, additional lighting functions can be
activated. The locomotive is also prepared for sound and is suitable
for both heavy freight trains and express services on the model railway.
