The PIKO BR 221 (V 200.1) diesel locomotive will appear in 2026 in
blue/beige livery as a high-quality sound version for G scale garden
railways. The model features well-balanced proportions, high reliability
and numerous functional details. Cab doors and windows can be opened,
and the red/white lighting changes direction-dependently in analog
operation. In the digital version, a PSD XP sound decoder is
factory-installed, enabling cab, engine room and running gear lighting
to be switched. Extensive sound functions as well as two pulsed smoke
units at the exhaust outlets and in the boiler area ensure impressive
operational realism.
