At larger rail stations there was usually a loco shed where locomotives could be overhauled and repaired. Here too, the staff could do their paperwork or pass the time between duties. The weather-resistant loco shed is clinker-built. The corners are reinforced and have been picked out in a contrasting colour. Locomotives can drive in and out through the movable doors. The partially aged loco shed is designed to go with the "Goepplingen" station, #63001.
This model is I scale(1:32), but the size of the building means that it can also be used on G track layouts and smaller set-size locomotives.
