After World War I, the Bayerische Staatsbahn (Bavarian State Railways) bought this huge meter-gauge Mallet from the military. Later, the loco became Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) number 99 201. This massive LGB model features a digital electronic sound system. Using actual steam loco recordings, the model reproduces every sound from the steam chuff to the squealing brakes.
